How old is he? What’s his diet? Is he pooping/eating/drinking?

it could be that your bun is gassy.  the most important thing is that bun is still eating and pooping… if eating & pooping are fine then it will help to gently massage the belly.  you can also give simethicone (sp?) to help relieve gas but i’ll defer to a more experienced member on this one since i don’t know if / how much its okay to give a baby bun.

if it is gas you need to pay attention to the bun’s diet which could be causing the problem.  check out binkybunny’s diet page (under bunny info) to see what a healthy diet is.  if you bun has been eating well already you can post specifics here & possibly get feedback on some things to tweak.

but you def want to deal with the bloated tummy right away.  it’s likely painful for the bun and if left it could cause stress and serious health consequences.

i would take it to teh vet. BBM is right about the gas drops, but it might not be okay for babies. there may be something else going on. do you have a rabbit vet?

                Hello Kris loves Shortii!

How old is your baby bunny? And where did you get him or her? Sometimes babies can get sick very quickly due to be taken from their mothers to early and not getting the proper nutrition. What is your bunny eating? If he/she is under 6 months, she should have unlimited alfalfa hay, and alfalfa pellets.

I would recommend getting your baby bunny to a rabbit vet ASAP, sicknesses in baby buns can get very severe very quickly.

Do you know if your bun is a boy or a girl? Is it named Shortii?

hahaha I thought the bunny was Shortii

I’m glad to hear that the bunny is feeling better! Are the poops normal looking? If they are runny, or very small, try to make sure that the bun is eating plenty of hay to keep things moving in the digestive tract.
