Wilbur has still at least 3 weeks or more for recovery after her spay, don’t worry I’m going to leave her alone for that period . But is there anything I can start with Totoro? Can I put some of Wilbur’s fur from brushing into his living area? Is there any kind of “prep work” I can do before Wilbur is ready to start the actual bonding process? I just want this to go as smoothy as possible and hopefully without too much aggression.

You can get stunt doubles, aka stuffed toys. to switch between them to get them used to having each others scent in their area. That works well Same with switching litter boxes.

Thank you! Should I wait longer to start doing that or is that something I can start now even though Wilbur was spayed about 10 days ago?

I htink you can start that part of. If you switch the litterbox or stuffie every day, the scent changes will be gradual enough that Totoro will get used to it.
