Hello! I have two bunnies, BB8 and The Babadook. Baba is neutered while BB8 isn’t yet(he’s not old enough). I’m hoping BB8 will be ready to be neutered in April.

I’ve been doing some pre bonding like switching their litter boxes, switching their cages at night, and during the day when they’re in my office with me and I just separate the room with two ex pens so they can’t touch each other and I switch which side they are in. I also put their pellets as close together as possible so they can see each other while they eat. There hasn’t been any fighting or aggression just some territorial poops from Baba. Should I be doing any more pre bonding? And what would you recommend? Since BB8 isn’t neutered yet should I bother with pre bonding?

Also I might be moving later this year and I was planning on having them bonded before I move. Would moving break their bond? Should I wait to start bonding after I move?

Sorry for all the questions! And thanks!

I think continuing prebonding is fine.

If they are properly bonded, moving shouldn’t break their bond. But if I were you, I would consider just doing prebonding until you move, and then start bonding in the new home, as it will all be neutral!

That said, if you aren’t moving for 6 months or so, I would probably want to start bonding them sooner.
