I was wondering has anyone else ever seen such a drastic change in their bun’s energy levels and attitudes?
It’s been a week since Siha’s restitch and I have noticed a huge change in her. She still only eats hay and veggies and is still having tiny, slightly sticky poops. But what’s really concerning is her general attitude. She does stretch her legs out a lot and looks like she is relaxed, but that’s about all she does. She doesn’t do her runs, no flops and she doesn’t play with her ball anymore.
Litter training is still difficult. I know she is trying to poop in the tray but her poops are so tiny they usually stick to her tail. Then she will lie in her litter tray, stretched out. Thane spends a little time with her, grooming her, but that’s about the extent of their interaction on a daily basis.
I am also worried she may have an ear infection. And something wrong with her hips. And something with her teeth
I talked with my husband last night about my worries and got very very upset at the thought of there being something serious wrong with her. Financially, things are so so tight (I’m working, husband is looking) and I will be heartbroken if there is something serious.
There is one vet about an hour and a half away from here who is the best in the country with rabbits. I intend on making an appointment to take the two buns to see her next Friday. Praying there is nothing serious wrong and I can get my excited happy bun back.
