Welp. My baby Mr.Bunny was neutered yesterday. He had to be opened up as well because he had one non descended testicle . I’ve given him his first dose of pain meds today . I also had to make him a collar out of an old tube sock so he wouldn’t lick his wound. He has been nibbling at hay, and his fresh greens I have given him, and drinking water . He has been peeing , but I haven’t seen poops yet. I have a cage where the poops can fall to the bottom, and I also have his litter box in the cage. Should I be worried? I’ve heard of GI stasis so i am kind of freaking out .

Him eating is a great sign, though it is unusual that he is not pooping. Does he seem in pain or is he posturing in odd ways? GI stasis is usually preceding by -not- eating, which causes the gut to stop moving.
