I have an 8-9 week old netherland dwarf yesterday evening I noticed that his poop is nothing but what seems like mucus. He was eating and drinking. Today I haven’t really noticed if he is still eating and drinking. Not quite sure what I can do for him until I can get him to a vet… are infant probiotic drops safe? I know infant gas drops can be given but I am unsure about the probiotic drops. If someone can offer any kind of information it would be greatly appreciated❤

A very young bun that presents with all mucus poop is a veterinary emergency. The most important thing is to keep him warm until you get to the vet.

Probiotic drops for babies seem harmless enough, but whether they will do any good is uncertain.

He seems to be warm enough. Heater is on in their room and he has somewhere to snuggle up in. He also seems more content when he’s wrapped lightly in a towel in my hands while getting rubbed and scratches, he does his little teeth chatter plus he, I guess, decided it was a good time to groom himself and lick the towel that was draped over my hand while I was holding him. Which for him is a big thing. i have only had him for about a week and usually he only wants to be pet and nothing else.

Thank you for the advice I am trying to keep him as warm and comfortable as possible.  and I have since caught him drinking his water which is mixed with pedialyte.

Pedialyte is good, hydration is crucial. Has he eaten anything?

              Have you seen more poop?

Here is an article on rabbit poop, by Dana Krempels, a highly trusted source:
