I’m tryng to figure out how i should do this, it seems Rocky is liking Craisin the best, he didn’t have the hormones to do his previous surgery like Wilbur did. So with that said I introduced him to the girls, he was a little to invasive with mimzie for her (kinda in her face and then the same with Wilbur), craisin seems to like him so I’ve been doing short visits with them together (rocky isn’t humping like i said with the previous half neuter, his hormones weren’t full in tact).  Now i know the girls are technically bonded but they don’t seem that close. I really lucked out that when Rocky and Wilbur had gotten out before that no one had gotten hurt because  they fighted shortly after. So the big question is, do I bond craisin & Rocky and when Wilbur’s hormones are gone put him back with Mimsie and have 2 pairs or do I attempt all of them, I just don’t want Rocky to get hurt and he has a nice little bite mark from Wilbur (that was my stupid move). Also should I try & find a home for Wilbur & Mimzie together? they are both gonna be big rabbits and it seems harder to find them homes for some reason. I really wanted to keep Wilbur (I like Mimzie a lot too but she is not as social with me like maybe she needs someone with more one on one time) I  also wanted them to have the bedroom as free roam. Any thoughts on this? I know it’s complicated sounding hopefully someone will make out what I am saying Also Rocky and Craisin do binkies around eachother a lot, now I don’t know if this is from being out or being together but I had yet to see Craisin binky at all until being around Rocky!

Why are you getting rid of Mimzie? How is she not social, is it with you or the other buns? Might just be her personality to be a little aloof. One of my bunnies, Muffin Top is sort of catty, sometimes she will grace you with her attention but don’t expect it hehe.

I’m not getting rid of Mimzie (here’s the thought process, and i do think she is a very sweet bun I just haven’t connected with her like the others and there is actually another bun in the group but my neighbor is going to be taking her soon), I rescued 4 buns from snake food and am trying to figure out if I can even keep all 4 as I live in an apartment that is not very big and have 5 cats all ready. So was thinking of finding a home for a pair and bonding one with my all ready bunny. Though if I thought I could bond them all together I might give it a shot but there is all ready drama amongst the cats not getting along let alone if I have to do this with the buns. I would love to keep them all but I am not sure if that is realistic.

My two cents is to bond the two pairs.  Larger groups, while not impossible, are more difficult (time consuming too) and you’ve already mentioned complications between some of the rabbits when they are together.  It is of course totally up to you to give it a shot as well.  Depending on how much longer you are willing to house them all and separately. Mimzie just needs an ideal partner (one she can boss around) my Daffodil is the same way, very catty too. I also think that in the long run, you’re better off keeping at the most two.  It sounds like you’ve already got a full house and it really wouldn’t be fair to your or the animals if you did not get to spend much time with them.

I just get sad thinking about parting from wilbur as I am so fond of him(and he is my big snuggler too!)! I know rocky and craisin would make a good pair and she seems to really like me and is very pushy for my attention. Mimzie is just a little shy, she got a long fine with Wilbur before so they should be fine together again. My bf really like Mimzie though….frustration….

Oh dear that is a dilemma.  Truthfully, I’m fond of Wilbur too. I wish he got along with Rocky.
