I’m sitting on the couch and stitch hops up and demands to be pet. so I let him for about 5 min and figure ill move him onto me to cuddle and get pet and when I move him he pooped about 16 poos, then when he moved off of me when he was done getting pet he left 4 little poos, and about an hour before that he left about 20 on my daughters bed and 5-6 on my sons, along with peeing on my daughters bed. is this territorial ? he’s young and not neutered bc he is still a baby. and so any of your buns do this even when they are neutered?

Pooping while comfortable is normal, but this sounds more like typical territorial markings, which is the nature of unneutered rabbits. Litter training will help, but it won’t really go away until he’s neutered. You can limit access to beds if you don’t want to clean it up constantly!

Be patient and try not to get frustrated though. It’s his nature, he can’t help it.

I don’t get mad at him… I get mad at my husband and kids when they leave the doors open. lol this time it was my fault… oops. (I’ll just blame the hubby) my kids think he poops on their beds because he loves them amd whoever gets the most poops he loves more. lmao ? once he is neutered and it (hopefully) decreases they are going to be pretty upset. cleaning up rabbit poops is like a reward for them and they love to do it. (my kids are weird) (2&3yo) I’ve had to restrict the bedrooms unless I’m supervising bc he digs the carpets up and naturally the kids help him do it and cheer him on. lol and he constantly marks in there room on the carpet along with the digging….lets just say I won’t be getting back my security deposit lol
