Hi the rabbit is 5 weeks old, I know she is young, I got her from a lady who didn’t keep the bunnies well at all. The mum had died when the babies were 4 weeks and one of the other babies had died, she’d already sold the 2 males so I took the last female for fear of it dying. She’s on junior pellets, fresh hay and fresh water, nothing else. Her poops are solid but she seems to keep standing and sitting on them. I gave her a very shallow bath yesterday which got the poop balls off, I think other than cutting her fur there wouldn’t be another way. Other than junior pellets, is there anything else I can give her to boost her up a little and give her what she needs? I’ve had her almost a week now, so she’s coming up to 6 weeks and she’s so much brighter and livelier, she’s hopping around now rather than just laying in one place.
I have kept rabbits before, but adult rescues, never a young one so I’m a little wary of how I should be looking after her to give her the best start. I also have her inside now, she used to live outside in a rather messy hutch.
