        Hi folks,

This is a crazy question I know, but as first-time neurotic parents, we wanted to see if anyone in this sub-reddit has any experience with this. Our two rabbits live free-roam in our living room, and our 7 month old is about to start crawling and is at the stage where literally everything he touches goes into his mouth.. The rabbits are litter trained, but obviously there are stray poops here and there. We are concerned about our son grabbing one of the poops off the floor and choking on it. Are there any parents who also have rabbits who have any experience with this or who might know whether or not a rabbit poop could constitute a choking hazard? Thanks for any and all advice!

A healthy rabbit poo would crumble very easily, especially with moisture so I do not think it is a particularly higher choking hazard than a stale cheerio or corn puff cereal piece.

Yeah, I would say no different than a piece of corn puff cereal.
