My Mini Lop bunny has a big issue with poop and hay being stuck to his bum. Sometimes it’s just hard poops caught up in his fur somehow. I try to keep his fur trimmed but it doesn’t seem to be helping. Whenever he leaves his litter box there’s a trail of hay and poop left on the floor!
Does anyone know how to control this?? It sometimes ends up on/in my bed and it’s getting really irratating!

Poopy butt is mostly due to a diet that’s too rich and/or lacking in fiber. It’s a common problem, and some bunnies are extra prone to it. Cutting back on pellets and treats so the bun eats more grass hay is the recommended action to take. How old is your bun? What’s his diet like now?
