  Finally! After about four months of pongo’s cage being half way finished, we finished it completely today!

  Pongo seems a tad overwhelmed with his finished cage, but i think he really likes it he finally has more room to hop and be BUNNYLICIOUS!

  OOOWEEE! That is some mansion. Love the flooring…is it carpet tiles? Are there doors on each level? He is really lookng overwhelmed in the last picture.

  The flooring is some old bed sheets that my mom(luvmycritters) altered to go over the choroplast. There isnt a door for the second level but the top of the cage opens and im able to access the fourth and third floors. The second floor is accesible through the door on the main floor
  
  He does look a little overwhelmed in the last picture, i think he was also getting annoyed at all the pictures we were taking lol "hey, get dat flash outta mah face!"

  Thank you! My mom & I couldnt have done it without the help of my sister! She has Pongo’s brother and made him an amazing cage, so we made her help us lol

  What is the pole in the middle? Is it a support pole and if so can you tell me what it is called?

  Are you asking about the gray poles underneath each level? Yes, those are there for support, they are PVC pipes my mom picked up at Home Depot. I think they were about a dollar for six feet, and they’re really easy to cut with a saw

  We are still working on ours, I’m wondering though….Has anyone had a bunny that did’nt like going up to the upper levels?
  I think Helen will go up, but I have a feeling that Gus will just stay on the main level.

  My rabbits were a bit wary at first and only used the bottom two levels; they are nosy critters so after a while they did go up another level and now they use it all and love it.
  
  Mine is 4 stories high and I want to put support poles in, I think I will also go with PVC piping just to give it a bit more strength.

  Yeah, the PVC pipes really help, and they were cheap so you cant beat that! Im pretty sure my sister has some long wooden sticks that she used, so thats also another option, but i suppose anything long and sturdy is an option, really

  Pongo is used to only having two levels so he’s hasnt checked out the rest yet. But i think it just takes some curiosity(which we all know bunnies have plenty of!) and then they discover how neat it is! lol

  Wooow – that is beautiful! And it looks so cozy like a bunny burrow That is a good idea with the PVC pipe – I used wooden supports on mine and they were just a teeny bit to wide so it made it very difficult to get them properly situated.
  
  In response to bunnies that won’t go on higher levels – one of my bunnies didn’t like to go to the third floor, then we gave him a tunnel on the third floor that used to belong to another bun. He was so intent on completely scenting and chinning the tunnel that smelled like another bun that he then spent about an hour up there just chinning off the smell of the other bunny!

  Yes Bunning’s, I am going to get some more and have another one coming down the side with a tunnel going from one to the other.
  
  I haven’t told my hubby that I want to add an extension to Castle a la rabbit condo; I am waiting for the right time lol.
  
  I have wood in mine to support the shelves but they are 1×1 which is too small, you really need 1×2 which I think Osprey was saying, you just need a bit of muscle to push them in.
  
  Oh I forgot Dawn, the cubes do not have a name on them just the picture of what they are.
