hi, so my rabbit was acting fine today until the afternoon and he started not being as active. A few minutes ago we saw that he pooped out mucus covered poops the poop looked normal but I’m worried about the mucus should I take him to the vet? I did some quick research and it said to watch his poo and give him extra water any other suggestions?
        thank you!

You should contact a vet. If your bun is very young, this is a veterinary emergency. Young rabbits become dehydrated very quickly, and that is often fatal. The amount water you can make a bun drink is not sufficient, so vets give fluids subcutaneously or even intravenously. They would also treat the underlying cause with antibiotics. The cause can be an intestinal parasite called coccidia, or overgrowth of bad gut bacteria.

Here is an article about bunny poop, true diarrhea and soft cecotropes: https://rabbit.org/intermittent-soft-cecotropes-in-rabbits/
