I would really like some input from this community if anyone can help. Not sure if this has anything do with it but I’ll tell it anyway. My 4 year old netherland dwarf, Link, started not eating his pellets a few days ago. Eating hay all day, still drinks water, still jumps around in excitement when it’s time for his vitamin that he thinks is a treat. I decided today he’s probably just bored of the pellets so I would go to get a different brand of food.

But tonight he started having what can only be described as “mini seizures”? He’ll be totally fine, binkying, stretching, eating, lounging and then out of nowhere he’ll flop, but VIOLENTLY. And be a little uneasy on his feet for a few seconds then be fine. A couple times it happened right after he shook his head. So I’m thinking it could be an ear infection?? I checked both of his ears they look fine. Totally clean, no discharge or discoloration.

Of course it’s a holiday weekend and no vets are open near me.

        Any suggestions?

        Thanks.

It certainly could be something like that, but there are various causes for seizures.

It really is better for him to be treated as soon as possible. No clinics doing normal Saturday consults?
Do you have any left over anti-inflammatory meds you have had prescribed for him before?
