Is he eating ok? It will likely grow out just fine. He may appreciate having his salad chopped into smaller pieces. I would just keep an eye on it (and the lower ones) as it grows out. If things start to get misaligned he may need a filing or two, but I’ve had this happen with a past guinea pig and it grew out over a few weeks without any problems.

I mushed up some of his pellets with water and some banana and he seemed to eat that but i haven’t heard him drinking any water. when i put him in his hutch for the night i can usually hear him guzzling water but i didn’t last night and he hasn’t been interested in hay for the last couple days.

If he’s unable to eat his hay you should take him to the vet. They can give him pain meds and check to see if he has any other injuries.  If he isn’t eating hay he may not drink much water. Is it offered from a bowl or bottle? A bottle might be painful to use.

Keep offering him pellet mash to make sure he’s eating enough. I would not give banana or sweets as that could upset his stomach.

took him to the vet and they said it doesn’t look like the nerve is damaged and to let him heal, his other tooth is going to break off too so he will have to get surgery to trim his bottom incisors. she said to just let him eat and drink regular foods as since the nerve isn’t damaged he shouldn’t feel any pain! thank you!!
