PLEASE HELP! Bonding Older male wit bby girl

I have a 3 year old neutered male netherland dwarf named Theodore. I recently adopted a 2 month old baby girl Holland Lop Lambchop. I took all the right steps: introduce in neutral territory, divided Theodore’s dog pen for each bunny to live in, switch litter boxes for smell purposes, I even put Theodore in lamb chops cage to get used to her smell when she is not in it for the past week. He even chewed the gate to get to her. He smells her through the cage and walks away  so i thought that would be a good thing.

Everytime I hold her up to him not behind bars he actually uses his hands to claw at her! then when i lift her up he lunges/charges at me! I recently put him in his pen and let her explore the room. She loves him and walked up to him in his cage and he hit her in the head again! 

He uses his hands a lot to move his toys, slippers, towels on the floor, could he be acting aggressive or treating her like a toy? he even makes a weird grunting noise!

She is not neutered so should i just keep them separate until she is spayed?

Then once she is spayed what do i do? have them meet?

Im very lost and concerned, I asked for professional help and the woman never heard of rabbits hitting apparently

You do need to wait until she is spayed until you try to bond, it is not going to work out if she still has her bunny hormones. After that, you can begin to bond slowly, they may or may not take a while to bond, but just be patient.

I’m going to agree with LongEaredLions. You really have to wait until after she’s spayed and her hormones have calmed down (about a month). Trying to bond with an unspayed female can lead to injuries to one or both bunnies.

SHE GOT ONTO HIS SIDE!
They are divided by a plastic baby gate so apparently one of them chewed a hole in it and she was with him on his side! He doesn’t mind her too much when they were together but very skiddish with her movements. he even started biting or grooming her head. They are separated now and the hold is fixed, but should i keep bonding them little by little now that i know they are okay with each other? I don’t want to lose what small progress they made by separating them for the remaining months until she is spayed.

You said she’s 2 months now? They may seem okay right now, but you run the risk of them hurting each other when her hormones start kicking in. You can let them smell each other through a barrier and get used to each other that way, just as long as she isn’t going psycho with the sight/smell of him once she’s hormonal. I wouldn’t let them be together though until she is spayed. Those hormones can suddenly kick in without warning, like flipping a light switch.

Ditto, LBJ10. When the hormones kick in, she will be a crazy hormonal Diva and there is a very real danger of serious aggression. Even if they are bonded, when the hormones kick in, they will most likely unbond and you will need to separate them for her spay anyways. It’s best just to wait.
