  Hello everyone,
  
  I’m new to rabbits. Got a few of them from my landlord because the kids wanted to have them as pets. I noticed one of them had funky stuff on her nose, now another one is starting to show the same funkiness on her nose too. What disease does it look like?

  Please take these rabbits to a rabbit-savvy exotic vet for diagnosis and treatment. It is likely syphilis and/or something fungal. Considering their age and what they look like, I wouldn’t be surprised if there were multiple things going on that need treatment. You cannot self-diagnose or treat at home. These rabbits need professional medical attention.

  Agree with Wick&Fable, they definitely need to be treated by a vet. If you are new to rabbits, I recommend checking out the “Rabbit Info” section at the top of this site for some good starting information on diet, care, health, and housing.
  
  Also I’m not sure of their ages or sexes, but they look young. Rabbits can become pregnant as early as 12 weeks, and it’s very common for rabbits to be mis-sexed when young. People often think they have all females and one ends up being a male, leading to unintended pregnancies. Rabbits also do not recognize sibling relationships once they hit puberty and will usually start fighting between 12-16 weeks of age. So if you are planning to keep more than one, you will need to separate them and get them spayed and neutered. Then if you would like them to live together, you can go through the bonding process with them (there is some info on this under the Rabbit Info section as well).
