Bunnies have sensitive respiratory systems so I agree with everyone who is wary of fumes… I think it would be better off to bring him inside and give him a treat or give him his veggies after you move him inside so there is something positive about it. Where do you normally let him out to run around and play? Maybe it would help to bring him to this spot that he is familiar with for playtime.
If he really doesn’t like being inside it’s probably because he’s not used to it- maybe bringing him in for some exercise more often and making it a positive place will make it less stressful when you need to bring him in- I would think you would need to bring him in occasionally for cold or hot weather, too.
Not to scare you (ok, well maybe to scare you a little bit) but when my mom was little, her 4H group had a rabbit as a group project and everyone took turns bringing the bunny home. They told her to put him in the garage over night and then in the morning my mom found him frozen. I don’t know if you leave him out all the time or not but I would be careful and mindful of the weather because bunnies are sensitive! In the wild they have deep fur lines burrows with other bunnies to snuggle with to keep them warm, and in the summer it’s cool underground.
