It is very late at night/early morning and I am having trouble going to sleep.

Anyway. Since I am having trouble sleeping I have been watching random videos. Most of which are about rabbits. A lot of people have kept saying that “rabbits don’t like carrots” thus my question.

Why do they keep saying that? Rabbits love carrots and will not hesitate to eat a whole bag if given the chance. These people will say that too much is dangerous for rabbits and gives correct information except for that part.

Maybe I’m taking it out of context though I really don’t think I am. I would say it might be because they were never around rabbits with carrots but some of the videos are on rabbit care.I am genuinely very confused.

Maybe what they meant is that rabbits don’t normally have carrots their diet, and not that they literally don’t like them? You know, since many people believe rabbits live on carrots haha.

Yeah, I would assume a lot of it has to do with dispelling the rumor that rabbits should eat carrots 24/7. There are still so many people out there that believe it due to all the cartoons. But, I will say, my last bunny did not like carrots! My mom, who meant well, would always try to feed him carrots when I wasn’t looking or leave them out for him and he never touched them. He’s probably the exception but some bunnies just don’t like ’em!

I apologize for not saying anything sooner.
I never got a notification on my topic and forgot I even posted one.
But in any case thank you for your replies!
