Okay, I think that Pheobe is humping her ball. I given the ball to her a few months ago and she loved it, she chases it, tries to bite and so on. I think she is addicted to her ball actually. But lately I’ve noticed that she is not only trying to bite it but also short of…humping the ball! Her lower body part is twiching in a funny way and she gets all over the ball…is it possible that she thinks that it is a living creature or something?

I wouldnt ask if she was a boy but it seems really weird coming from her…a girl!

It’s very possible. Humping, especially from girls, is also a way they show dominance. If she hasn’t been spayed yet, then it’s possible it’s a form of releasing sexual activity as her hormones increase. But if she has (forgive me for not remembering) then she’s just telling that slippery ball who’s boss!

Yep, it’s certainly possible. It could also be that she’s trying to hold it still. If Otto has a small ball, he’ll push it under his body with his front feet to keep it from rolling off (or I think that’s what he’s trying to do)
