max and penny chase each other a lot. i mean there’s no fighting or anything and they cuddle afterwards, so this is just a game, right? i shouldn’t be worried? all of a sudden i thought that maybe it was weird.

It sounds like they chase each other to have fun, especially if they take turns who’s chasing who. Bunnies like to play chase, sometimes they like to be chased and sometimes they like to be the chaser. My perception is that it’s fun for them and a little mischievious especially if it’s their owner their playing chase with. If they cuddle together afterwards or at any time, you’ve nothing to be concerned about. Just enjoy watching them! Max and Penny are adorable!

I haven’t experienced bonded bunnies playing chase, but I was chased a lot by Spockie. If you want to play chase with your bunnies, start by running away and letting one or both chase you. Try to let them be the chaser first, then you can chase them, then run away again. If you start by chasing them, they may be a bit scared, since that’s what predators do. But otherwise, they love to play chase.

Yea, my buns chase each other sometimes. It is so cute. Sometimes I can get in on the game a little!

I had a cat that loved to be chased. If I was to slow, she would wait for me to catch up with her and then take off again. Then she would flop and want tummy rubs!
When I was really little I remember our dog would chase our cats down a long hallway – when they got to the end, they would turn around and the cats would chase the dog down the hall – when they got to the other end, they would turn around . . . . it would go on like that till they were all tuckered out!!!

When she was younger Pringles used to chase my cats. All my cats. My house is older and has the ‘walk around’ layout instead of halls and I’d hear this soft thundering and a wave of 3 cats would come around the corner with Pringles on their heels, her ears just flying behind her. They’d make several laps until the cats got tired and jumped on furniture or there was a miscalculation on a sharp turn and everyone would go sliding into a wall and land in this big heap of fur….lol.

Maryann likes to have me chase her. I just find that really weird.

Moose binkies when dorkman chases him. Monkey flattens her ears and glares when he tries with her

Coco also likes Chase, but Jackson bolts as if I have a bib on and a hungry look in my eye.

I chase Sophie. She loves it. I know when she’s done playing because she just flops over or runs back into the Taj Mahal that is her two floor condo!
