Good morning! My apologies if this is not the correct place to post this, as this is my first time actually posting here on this site.
This morning I noticed some small pink lumps on my bun’s toes, around the base of her nails. It sort of reminded me of a cat’s paw pads, but I was understanding bunnies don’t have those. n trying to find information on what this could possibly be, I’ve only been able to find things about sore hocks, and images of the bunny’s heels.
My bunny friend is not kept in a cage so she is never standing on the wire grates of one. We have hardwood floors, where I’ve places blankets and small area rugs for her. I haven’t noticed any issues before now with her on these floors (other than a poor traction if she gets startled) and it’s only recently that she’s been sitting on the carpets more, which I had initially thought to be due to the colder weather and thus colder floors.

I hope the picture shows it decently (I don’t think she’d sit still enough for me to take another one) She doesn’t pull her paws away when I try to touch them so I don’t know that they are hurting her or not.
She is my first bunny and I’m trying real hard to treat her well but there is just so much I don’t know, it seems. I am trying to spare her the stress of a (hopefully) unnecessary visit to the vet, if i can.
My thanks in advance, for any help you can offer.
