I decided to have a photo op this morning. Oliver has finally come out of his cage, if only for a second. I enticed him to come out with his pop up cube!

How cute! Thats great that he made the first steps out, he must be starting to adjust. I noticed that you didn’t have any carpet mats or rugs in the pics, you might want to add a few of those to his cage floor and just outside the cage because sometimes bunnies have a hard time walking on the hard floor and other hard surfaces, so he might be more eager to walk around if there are some carpet pieces or rugs outside his cage.

Keep up the good work with him! He is lucky to finally have a real home

                  What a gorgeous bunny.

I just love those first steps out of the cage and how they slowly investigate their surroundings

I love his grey ear! So cute! And it’s wonderful he’s deciding to come be your friend. However, I second MooBunnay’s comment about the carpet– my bunnies practically ice skate on tile/wood floors, so we can only let them play in the basement, which is carpeted. ;___; They’re so slidey!

I think you definitely need a mat or rug for traction.  I have hardwood floors too and once I put down a grass mat Edson was much more willing to come out of his xpen.  Hey – what is the pop up tent thing for?  That looks like a great idea!

knowltons-Those pop up tent thingys are usually sold for cats…You can get multi level ones too! Check your petstore or ebay maybe? I’ve got one too-but my girlies have temporarily lost tent ‘priveledges’ because they decided it was a nice private toilet
