  He’s about 6 monthes old. These pics are about 2 monthes old.
  
  Knowltons- The darker fur is the fur floating in the water. I just noticed it looks like he’s missing fur, he’s got a full coat though, so no worries!

  Yep!! He loves snorkeling in the bath tub. He actually dives and swims under the water. Ferrets are realated to otters, so thats why. That’s why his furs all funky looking in the first two pictures .

  I have a few toys he plays with in the bath tub. He splashes around chasing them. I have not been in the tub with him. Partly because when I give him a bath he’s usually dirty.

  aww cute ferret I love watching them swim my dad has 2 who will claw your arms to pieces to get in the tub then evade your every move to get them out lol.

  OH my BigSis, Oliver is adorable!!! I love the picture of him snuggling. I also didn’t know the about the whole water thing with ferrets. Now I’ll have to go onto Youtube and search for videos of ferrets playing in the tub. CUTE!!! So what are his active hours? Does he like being held? Can they be litterbox trained?

  haha! Yeah Oliver loves it until I have to put shampoo on him!
  
  BB: Well he is usually up for playtime anytime! Baby ferrets have to sleep at least 17 hours a day, but half of his sleeping time is cuddling with me . They are actually very easy to litterbox train because they naturally want to use one corner………except for Oliver. He uses a side of his cage. So he is half littler box trained, half not. Ferrets usually prefer to run around and play with toys and you. Sorta like a rabbit. Ferrets usually can’t sit still for 5 seconds, but Oliver LOVES to cuddle! He’s a momma’s boy . He playes about 3 hours of the day and cuddles 3+hours of the day! I don’t mind though!!

  that sounds like a lot of work, but totally worth it! you probably get more cuddle time and interaction from him than you would from a rabbit. so he is a baby still? did you rescue him or buy him at a store? will he outgrow the “cuddly” stage like bunnies or will he always be like that?

  He’s a ton of work!! He poops everywhere, but his litter box and shreds and rips everything!! I swear I have lost 2 pairs of shoes, 2 shirts (not incluiding the ones I’ve found with holes and/or poo on it), and 3 pairs of socks! He is totally worth it though!! Yeah there is a bit more interaction and cuddles than a bunny except ferrets aren’t supposed to want to cuddle (I don’t mind though)! He is about 6 monthes old right now. I, sadly , got him from a pet store. I couldn’t bear the thought of someone getting him and who knows what happening to him. So I rescued him from a pet store . Ferrets ecspecially babies are not supposed to be cuddly. They are supposed to be VERY hyper. Ferrets are supposed to calm down as they get older, so I don’t know what’s going to happen to Oliver. We’ll see!
