Here’s Otto’s. I took this picture right before I brought him home, so it’s a bit messier and there’s stuff in the cage now, but otherwise it looks the same.

Sandy (the brown rabbit) and Gracie (the white and black rabbit) are both mini lops.  Archie (the white and grayish rabbit) is a holland

                This isn’t a recent pic, she’s a lot bigger now (7lbs!)

i thought the exact same thing about when i saw the tarp! omg i went sooo the hard route. i put thick plastic down over the carpet and then i laid one by one peel and stick tilesuntil their entire area was covered so to protect the carpet…10ft x 4ft…thats alot of tile! lol

This is one of our “daytime” play areas.  They have their own bedroom, but from about 10am – 8 or 9pm they hang out in the family room.  Ken changes it up every 1-2 days while they “help” him…love it when you start rearranging their tubes, boxes, teepees, etc.  We have quite a variety so we change it up between their 2 areas.  We are slowly losing our living space!!!!!  This is a few angles of the same set-up.  We just decided to start taking pics of the designs we/they like so we can easily re-create them so this is the only one so far…the buns were resting so I’ll have to post their pics another time – just got some new ones .

Last night my husband and I thought about it and decided that Marshmallow needed more room to play. His Wabbitat was big enough for him but he is a baby and as he grows he will need the space so why not go ahaed and create one.

We got the ideas from here  seeing how some of  you guys built them out of the NIC grids. What a great idea! They are so much more affordable than store bought habitats of similar size . The whole thing cost only $45 and that incudes tarp 2 sets of grids and one huge tub of zipties (yes i have lots left over more more ideas to come ) Plus thereis room to grow  and rearrange . So here are some pics of the new bunny house …..

lol @Lucy2, you really have given over alot of your space! It looks great though!

Staceyblue, his pen looks great. It’s really big too, I doubt you’ll have to make it any larger as he grows. One question though, how does he get to his water bottle? It could just be the pic but it looks up high.

Ah yes it is the pic his water bottle is down low enough . It is attached to the wabbitat we started with and it sits up higher than the floor , the bottle is facing inward . It is also housing his litter pan I figuered with the larger space I had better keep the litter pan food and water in the same spot so he didnt get too confused and undo all the wonderful potty habits he picked up so fast . Plus this is his first week here so it is alot of change for a small rabbiti didnt want to stress him overly by moving his faverite things i. e. food pellets and litter pan full of yummy hay lol. Oh and i almost forgot to share his most favorite new thing in the larger cage is his new bunny getaway the white box “house” that dubbles as a step up to the upper level of which he hasnt discovered yet ,maybe when he gets a little bigger and braver lol. We let the cage doors open and he runs in and out across my living room and back up into the box and out again lol it is the funniest thing .After all that he will get in there and sleep I think he is a very happy with his new home

LucyTwoBuns…That is the most impressive bunny room I have seen!

                                      Here is ours:
Please notice the very strategic position of the cage…that is because only Karl has the size to go behind the cage now. Molly and Jack are denied access
to that corner ’cause it is their favourite pee corner and I haven’t had the courage to try to move the cage back to its original position.

Oh, and on this picture Molly is actually right now in the middle of peeing in Karl’s cardboard box, which was made specifically for him.
Thank you, Molly. Caught in the act…but we still love her

I had to show this picture as well although the focus is really bad. I have no food at all on me, but that didn’t stop them from running me
over the second I sat down to take a picture. Sweet.

And the newest addition to their toys – a basket. This picture is taken just two seconds before Molly trips over with the basket falling over her.
