I love REW’s – I want to adopt one someday since they tend to be abandoned more in shelters. My boyfriend doesn’t like the red eyes, but he can deal with it! Haha.

How could anyone NOT like those red eyes? I think they’re gorgeous…They reflect light and glow bright red if bright light hits them just right ^^

I love REWs because they remind me of Monty Python. My bf told me we could only adopt a REW if we named it The Killer Rabbit and taught it how to kill.

I think they’re beautiful. The only REW at the shelter was just like Charmin but we were specifically looking for a girl He was a beauty though! If only I had unlimited room in my tiny apartment. I wish I could adopt all the bunnies in the shelter.

I don’t have a REW bunny, but I had a REW guinea pig for 6 years.
It was before digital photos, so I’d have to dig through a photo box to show you, but just wanted to join in with the REW lovers.

Technically, these are not my rabbits…but they were dropped off with Mimzy at my husband’s workplace two years ago this summer. Their names (as we called them) were Wiz and Momiji. (named after anime characters) They were beautiful bunnies. (some of these pix can be found in the gallery also)

Wiz was taken in by someone near here, but we lost Momiji that winter. Just couldn’t get him to come in from the cold.

I think the REW is the consummate “Easter Bunny”. I think there are a lot of them bred for that purpose and that’s why you see so many in shelters. It’s so sad.

My daughter loves these types of bunnies and I don’t doubt she’ll find a way to bat her eyelashes at Daddy for one sometime in the future. (since Pip is now about 95% bonded to Mimzy, when daughter moves out, Pip stays here)

lolz…Markus, I just love Fitz…he’s so pudgy, round, sweet…and deadpan in his poses for the camera! ^_^

I just love REWs. In angora, their fur is so lovely and takes dye very well.  I love spinning white angora!

You know, you could train it to go for your throat. Do a clicker command training where you have some banana smeared on your neck. When your bun notices it, do the clicker command and he will slowly begin to realize that the clicker command means that there’s something yummy on someone’s neck.
