The cat in the picture is Oreo (not very original). I used to able to name my pets common names- Hershey, Shadow, Oreo- but once you work at a vet clinic the pressure is on. Seriously, everyone I work with feels like we have to be original because we see tons of Rusty’s, Sadie’s, Buster’s every day. Oreo is about 13 years old and she loves to hang out by the bunnies, nosh on their hay and barf it up later.
Fortunately the new bunny is not at all afraid of cats, Cotton who is housed by him, or the dogs. Molson washed “Edwards” face the other night and I would have stopped it, but the bunny did not seem to mind. He was neutered on 12/02/08 at the shelter- and for some reason, though he has not TRIED anything- I get this feeling that he is waiting for his chance to hump someone or something. He is so mellow, I guess I assume he has ulterior motives. (My girls have never humped, dominance or otherwise).
