Henryk loves parsley, cilantro, and romaine (especially romaine hearts), he’s okay with spring greens, but I can barely get him to nibble on bok choy or kale. Should I keep adding in the greens he doesn’t like, until he eats them, or forget them all together? I want to give him a wide variety. Are there any other greens anyone could recommend based off his preferences?

Sometimes buns need to be offered something several times before they decide they like it :p So depending on how long you’ve tried giving him new things, I’d suggest trying another few times and then if he still isn’t interested, I’d stop. He won’t eat them if he doesn’t want them so it’ll just go to waste.

My bunnies love dill and thyme. Rocket and watercress are a big hit too!

I’ll keep at the new greens for a little while more! I haven’t tried the ones you’ve recommended so I’ll try those too, thank you!

I printed out the veggie list from this website and its own my fridge. I highlight veggies Wick had eaten and can tolerate, sharpie out ones he had a hard time with or didn’t like, and circle his favorites and safest bet.

You could try other varieties of bok choy perhaps, such as Pak choy? Same with kale, it does come in different varieties if you can find them.

Lately there has been a new thing in my local shops – kalettes. They are meant to be a cross between Brussels sprouts and kale. My rabbits love them!

I’ve been feeding my own two buns a big bowl of spring mix every evening and they seem to love it so far, but I should look into offering them some new things like mint, parsley and cilantro to spice up their evening greens, maybe also as treats.
