Has anyone ever used a light box to photographed their bunnies? I have one I use to photograph my reptiles, objects and things like that. Thought about making an oversized one for my rabbits since I hate taking pictures of them on my ugly carpet lol I don’t really have a problem getting them to sit still for a picture all I have to do is rattle their treat container and they are still long enough to snap a few pictures.

I hate my camera since the flash washes everything out and makes Pacey look like he is covered in glitter lol and a light box makes my pictures look 100x better since I don’t have to use the flash.

So have you ever used one for your rabbits or know anyone who has?

If you don’t know what a light box is

So I am thinking about trying this for my bunnies to make the main focus them and nothing else

Ooo cool! What about just putting them in the bathtub? I’ve been bonding my two so I’ve ended up with a lot of pictures of them in the tub and it has the same effect. I don’t know much about photography, so maybe a light box like that would be much better. Jeannie gets really washed out in the tub pictures since she’s all white.

I haven’t, but I’m surprised my dad didn’t suggest it! He’s a photography nut and Otto is his favorite subject (even though he only gets to see the bun a few times a year).

I think a light box would allow you to get some fantastic photos! My bun is not poseable, but if yours are, go for it 😉

with just a normal flash and a white blanket or sheet can work wonders!

Yeah, a white sheet is good idea too! I have some great pictures of Leroy from when I let him bounce around on my bed

                      great shots, spidey!

the light box is a great idea. i have the same problems with my camera when trying to photograph MJ – his fur looks terrible and he is always blurry.

it would be hard to get them so sit still, though, i would think. you’d have to bait them with treats, for sure.

I did a bunny photo shoot one day.
I cut the top and one side off a huge box.  Covered the box with a backdrop and set up a few props. I set up 2 lights with umbrellas.
Here are some of the results:

ahh such cute pictures! I am definitely going to make one but not out of cardboard since cardboard+bunny = holey cardboard
