  He’s recently been fond of me petting him. I was sitting on the floor on the laptop and he just wouldn’t leave me alone.

  Awe! So cute. I also saw you other video of him binkying. Was he shy before when it comes to affection? Sometimes bunnies are just like that. Especailly when they are younger, they have alot more energy and like to run around and I have found as they get older, they like to be pet for longer periods (however, there are many bunnies that are like that from the start too)
  
  And sometimes, it just takes some bunnies longer to fully trust — part of the prey nature. You may be considered now part of his bunny herd.
  
  Either way, whatever it is….it’s adorable!

  He comes and goes on affection. Sometimes he’ll love to come by me, others he does his own thing and almost seems to just play with me when I try to pick him up.

  That sounds like a normal bunny — They feel like snuggling sometimes, and sometimes they want to explore and do their own thing. Just part of being a a bunny (especially in their younger years)
  
  Does he circle you as part of the “Play” you are talking about?
