  So on saturday i had to go to fort wayne (about 1 and 45 mins away) for my boyfriends grammas funeral. well we didnt leave until 1 pm, so i fed pepper just before we left, and figured he would be fine until we got back at 1 the next day….
  
  Boy was i WRONG.
  
  Pepper doesnt like it when he doesnt get fed at exactly 6:30 am every morning. I have witnessed this when sleeping in until 8 or 9 and his cage is destroyed. Well evidently 1 pm is MUCH WORSE than 8 or 9.
  
  I came home, went straight to my room to check on him…I look in his cage and it is DESTROYED beyond belief, water bowl flipped, toys everywhere, hay everywhere, phonebook everywhere….
  
  No pepper….ANYWHERE. Yes thats right, he got so mad he decided he would come find me and jumped his 36 inch high pen. and then waited under my bed for me to get home. As soon as i noticed he wasnt there, i yelled pepper! and he came running out from under the bed pretending like nothing happened and demanding that i feed him.
  
  Luckily no computer wires were chewed. But a library book (just so happened to be watership down) was chewed. lol! ironic huh? well i went out and bought some NIC cubes from target to make a lid for his pen. lol it folds up and away so its easy to move off and put back on.
  
  Just had to share my story!

  wow, you are lucky!!! boston would’ve chewed her way through every cord in the apartment!! haha!!!! picky, picky buns!

  OH man!! That’s hilarious! Glad nothing bad happened….My schedules so chaotic, I would be murdered every day if we had set feeding times at my house

  omgosh thats so funny! i’d love to be a fly on the wall when you splain the book to the library… “honest… my rabbit ate it” lol

  lol yeah no kidding, im kinda hoping they dont notice, but its kinda obvious, so hopefully they wont care? lol

  aw no what will you do about the book if they notice? i have a book out from the library and i cant find it anywhere lol

  I can’t leave my books out either. They get chewed. And they are library books. I don’t know yet if I will get charged for it.
