Penny is 3/12 months old now.    i’ve noticed the hair on top of her fore head has gotten really thick, thicker than the rest of the hair on her body.  it seems to look normal.  does this happen to all rabbits?   or just some breeds?  is it normal? sorry such a random question. haha.

Is Penny the Harlequin? Not the lionhead? The hair there can look longer – between the ears. Perhaps Penny is a mixed breed and you’re seeing some of another breeds traits starting to showing in her?

sorry, my picture made it confusing.  Lola is the lionhead, and Penny is the harlequin/calico.
