Sooo… poor Mimz. He’s a bit gassy tonight. The only thing different between today and yesterday is the pellets I gave him, and I didn’t give that many. He’s had his probiotic today as well. It’s not as bad as it was that first night, but I gave him a little simethicone anyway, because he was a little hunched up and won’t take anything I try to hand feed him.

Does anyone else have trouble with gas in bunnies who eat pellets? I’d just like to know because if it’s these and not the Metacam, if he needs it again for pain I can administer it without worry.

Awww poor Mimzy! Leroy gets 1/8 cup of pellets daily, and he hasn’t had any issues with them. Then again, Leroy has an iron stomach and is never bothered by anything, so I’m probably not much help.

          ((((Get well vibes!))))

I have given my rabbits metacam over and over and over again and no stomach pain. Maxine get is daily and she eats her greens and hay right up with no problems.

I really do believe if there is any stomach upset it is from the pen-g as that is known to cause stomach upset.
