Hello there! My mini lop has been suffering from peepee butt for a couple of months. I’ve taken her to the vet
And she was treated for e cuniculi back in January. Her treatment was for 28 days (I forgot what the medication was called) and was also on antibiotics.
Her peepee butt hasn’t gone away and keeps wetting herself daily. She sleeps a lot and seems distant. She still eats like normal both orchard hay and pellets.
Any idea what this might be?

Have you told the vet about the persistent symptom? If treatment for one thing didn’t work, I would hope that would help a rabbit experienced vet consider other options. Perhaps there’s a UTI, issues in bladder control, etc.

Is your rabbit showing any urine scalding/fur loss back there as a result? If so, talking to the vet to get some cream to soothe those spots is important.

Sometimes Panacur needs to be given for 2 back to back treatments because it is a slow acting drug. Bombur always sees improvement half way through his second course of treatment.

I’m taking her back to the vet ASAP since this issue didn’t go away and yes she does have urine scalding and patchy fur poor girl. I do give her butt baths but since she does it daily it only does so much

Interesting I did not know that since she is still having the same symptoms as before I took her to the vet
