Peeing. Everywhere!

Hey there! I know I’ve posted about this before but my rabbit Clio the most amazing mini lop just wont stop peeing. She has peed on my bed so many times and even the couch a few times too. She also just poops everywhere. My bedroom looks like a big litter box after an hour of her running around with the amount of poo that there is. Is that normal? Does poo just fall out there bums like it does for sheep? It’s becoming a huge issue with her pooping all over the place. I’m having to pretty much follow her around to keep the poo at bay. I love her to pieces and want her to be a free bunny inside as I don’t believe in cages to keep them in all the time but I’m on my wits end about her toilet habits. Cleaning a duvet for the 3rd night in a row at 3 am from pee is starting to take a toll on my work life. Any suggestions on how to litter train! I have 3 litter boxes in areas she pees in on the ground, I make sure to clean up any pee very well and get the smell out so she won’t pee there again (well the idea she won’t) is it a teratiory thing? She does pee on her toys too (I clean them lol) I’m just not sure what to do!!

How old is she and is she spayed? Territorialness could be the primary factor but sometimes bunnies just love peeing on beds. It’s a common problem!

She’s only 12-13 weeks old. I have her booked for the vet on the 5th of September for a checkup/vaccinations and I will be talking to them about getting her spayed when she’s old enough. She’s become very comfortable and because I let her free run all day I’m worried it will encourage her to not use the litter box. She does use it a lot and I change it every 2 days atm but she also pees everywhere else too lol

It might be difficult to fully litter train her at her age. My bunnies were perfect with peeing only in litter boxes but they pooped everywhere. It did seem like the poops just fell out lol. After they were spayed and neutered, the poop got a LOT better. They’re not perfect but they seem to have some control of when and where they drop a load   80% of poops in the litter trays! 

As I said, I never had issues with pee mishaps but perhaps you could reduce her space temporarily until she’s doing all pees in trays. Then increase a little. Etc. Also try soaking up pee mishaps with some kitchen roll and place that in the litter tray.

I’ll try the kitchen paper thing now! You are so lucky with your bunnys ? I love her to bits and she normally would jump up in the morning for cuddles but I can’t risk her peeing again hopefully it gets sorted soon ?? thankyou for replying to me as well!
