As the title! Peanut was sniffing Buttercup’s bum, and he looked as though he was about to start digging at her back end (his annoying habit, he doesn’t do it much now tho!) Anyway be started humping her face
We stopped it immediately, Buttercup hopped away and he followed and then did dig at her. I clapped to get him to stop, which he did. He then just hopped into his litter tray to eat and poop. He’s just laying around now, Buttercup seemed a bit upset by it but she did just allow the face humping (for the few seconds it took us to stop him)
I’m just so confused as he hasn’t humped her (face or ‘the right way’) since they were first bonded back in January. They’ve both been to the vets today to get weighed, and we have changed the living room around a little tho not drastically. Things like this don’t usually have an impact on them but with bunnies, who knows!
I’m wondering if this is the sort of thing that led to the fur tufts we found a couple of weeks ago.
Any advice?
