Hello,  does anyone know if parsley root is okay for a holland lop?  Our 3.5 yr old Bella loves her veggies; romaine lettuce, mint, cilantro, parsley, italian parsley, bunches more.  My daughter bought her some parsley root tonight for the first time, looks like parsley on top but attached to what looks like white carrots.  Just wondering.  Thanks as always!  Bellasgrandma

I checked the HRS website but wasn’t able to find a direct reference to parsley root. It did say that root vegetables (siting carrots and beets) are lower in calcium, which is good. Unless someone else has some more definite info. I’d say stick to the rule of thumb of moderation. If the parsley greens are a hit, just either leave it at that, or try a smidgen of the root. Basically, when in doubt, don’t.
