So I accidentally left a brown paper bag on the ground, theres no coloring or ink on it. Dasher and Dutch like to run into it and jump around in it, then jump on it
Dasher has nibbled it a little, but from what I can see, hasnt eaten it. Is it safe for them to continue to play with?

I don’t think it is an issue! A lot to times bun parents will make hay toys out of brown paper bags, it won’t hurt them!

As long as it isn’t plastified or treated to be water-resistant, it’s a great bunny toy Breintje often plays with cardboard boxes, tp rolls and all the paper you accidentally leave lying around. It doesn’t matter if it’s accidentally ingested in small bits, and it’s great to wear down teeth.

Accidentally? The minute I get a clean plain paper bag, packing paper… etc, as long as it’s clean, the less ink the better, the less bleaching the better, and of course, no plastic, wax, glossy, etc… I immediately just give these to my Bun! She plays with them until she gets bored or they get destroyed… whichever comes first

I stuff hay into paper bags and the two monsters love it. They don’t eat the paper but they do nibble and tear it.

I have a bunch of paper bags tucked into the corner next to the hay container that I was “saving” for re use. I didn’t know that “use” was so that Clover would have something to play with!

They’re all folded up and stacked together, a herd of innocent bags, and Clover will go over, snuffle and paw at them until she chooses her victim du jour, then she grabs it in her teeth, noms all over it, drags it out of the pack, and then proceeds to abuse the poor, innocent bag until she’s worked it open and climbed in and can savage the bag from the inside. It’s just savage, and brutal. When she’s done, Clover sits in the tattered, scattered, dismembered parts of her victims and gloats, eyeing the rest of the remaining pack to remind them that they’re prey to her murderous whims….

I used to make treat bags for my boys with paper bags stuffed with hay and little treats. They loved them. Elara, however, thinks that paper is a food group.
