Pancake never puts his ears up.  I’v never seen him, the only time he did that that I know of was the day I got him.

What type of bunny is he? Not a lop I trust?

if pancake *is* a lop then it’s normal for his ears to be floppy   my first lop bun would stick his big ole ears straight up in the air if something startled him.  made me laugh ’cause he looked like an exclamation point.  haha.  but baby (also a lop) has never stuck her ears straight up.  she just pivots / swings them forward when curious and back when mad.  now if pancake is anything other than a lop then… hmmm… i dunno myself.

Meadow is not a lop obviously, but she really only puts her ears straight up if she hears something, or if she’s very curious.  i know according to the "lang of lago" site that this means she should be angry or annoyed much of the time, but she’s not.  i think she just likes to hang out with her ears back or down.  i think it helps her Diva status to look annoyed.

well there are different kinds of lop bunnies too.  my girl -Baby- is a lop and she’s 5.6 lbs.  i had a holland lop and a mini lop who were under 5 lbs each.  i have no idea how many different lop breeds there are but i suspect there are lots!

can you post pictures of him?  that would help maybe determine if he’s a specific breed, or just a bunny mix.

yes, some pictures might help us tell what kind of lop he is
