there’s been talk of both lately….

i have been using the Zupreem pellets.  i am going to the vet with Mead today (nail trim day again!) and they sell Oxbow T pellets.  i still have some Zupreem left… should i get the Oxbow and combine it, or get Zupreem again?  i think the prices are comparable… the Zupreem is actually a buck or two more than the Oxbow.  the nutritional info is very similar too…

she’s about 15 months old so i’m also going to be cutting down her pellets starting very soon.  she gets a little less than a 1/3rd cup measuring cup.  i’ve been a little scared to do so b/c of her weird weight loss episode earlier this year.  i suppose she could go down quite a bit… to 1/8th of a cup… she’s less than 4 pounds.

        any thoughts?

Why do you even want to switch if they are the same?  Did I miss something?  You could cut Meadow down to 1/4 cup.  I give Edson between 1/8-1/4 and he’s just under 4 lbs.

just gathering info. i’ve known that my vet carries Oxbow, and i’ve been considering making the change for awhile. i am going to be buying more food today regardless… just would like some input on which way to go. once (if) i make the change, that’s gonna be it.

Well if the vet carries Oxbow and it’s cheaper and more convenient I would go for that. The pellets are a little smaller with Oxbow if I remember correctly and I find them to be a little dustier sometimes than Zupreem but I use these in a pinch as well.

well. it turns out the place i was getting the zupreem isn’t even carrying it anymore, only online… grrr.

                guess it is oxbow then.
