Overnight update

We got back later last night than expected.  We decided to go grocery shopping, so we could have more free time on Easter Sunday.  When we got home last night, she acted happy to see us. She even binkied.  She was ok. This morning she has been very playful.

Before we left, I was getting a worried about her behavior. Most of you know about her issue with sore hawks. I was always checking on them and putting medicine on them.  Then with grooming, trimming nails, and other monthly matenance she was kind of acting afraid of me.  Not all the time.  She’d still request head pets. 

Well, last night, I visited her and she sprawled out in front of me like ok pet me now!  It was so cute. She stayed there for like 15 minutes.  This morning, she was back to packing her hay all around her cage.  She hasn’t done that since me combined her exercice pen and her cage.  I picked up a tail and she took a corner of it and was hopping everywhere with it. She’s never done that. It was kind of funny. 

My hubby and I think that the time away from her was good for both of us.  On the way home from tampa last night, we were talking how having Holly has been a work in progress. We still have a lot to learn, but I am happy with the results.  It is a fun adventure for sure!

How long were you gone? I must have missed that. I’m just curious because I’m so worried about leaving my bunny when we go on vacation. That’s great news. Rabbits sure are characters, aren’t they!

oh good. i’m glad it went well. if you were going to be gone another night someone would have needed to check in on her. i’m thinking that after awhile (and after spay) she is going to be a wonderful little girl for you. she’ll be pure joy to be around… lol.

glad it went well and she didnt give u stink eye when u got back as some buns would hehe! you seem to have a lovely bun and a lovely set up so congrats!

We were only gone for a little over 24 hours. I thought we would of been back a few hours ealier, but that didn’t happen. I was worried about lieaving her alone. Hubby was talking about spending two nights away. I told him no because we didn’t have anyone to check on Holly lined up. I’m glad we only went for one. I had my camera with me. I have like 99 pictures of her on it and three videos. I would look at the pictures and wonder how she was.

My mom lives in Ohio, and she came to Tampa from Thursday to today for an event. She asked us if we’d come and spend the day with her on one of the days. Since neither my hubby and I see our family very often we jumped at the chance. His family lives in Buffalo NY and mine live near Cleavland.

She is a fun bunny most of the time. Her set up is a work in progress. It is funny. We have to try to be smarter than the bunny. LOL That doesn’t always work. She’s a smart little critter!
