My rabbit recently has been eating… a LOT. When he was a baby, he would hardly touch his food. He had no taste for hay and barely choked down his pellets. He wouldn’t eat alfalfa (would touch timothy hay), so I got him these alfalfa cubes hoping he would eat those– nope. He drank normally and didn’t seem to be in any pain, so I just thought he was a picky bunny.
However, out of nowhere he started eating absolutely everything. EVERYTHING. He pounces on his pellets like there’s no tomorrow and they’re always gone as fast as he can devour them. He guzzles hay and he even eats his alfalfa cubes. He drinks an obscene amount ( I have to refill his water bowl 2-3 times a day) and he seems to be much more lazy now. When he has his out time (typically three to four hours), he generally just stays in his litter box chomping away on his hay, when before he used to be very adventurous and would love to sprawl underneath my bed.
He’s getting neutered this upcoming Saturday and is a four month old male holland lop. IDK if I’m just being paranoid and/or overreacting, I’m just slightly concerned about his drastic change in behavior. Am I just being crazy?
