So I found this house used for cats, but I have seen people use it for their bunny. What are your thoughts? I will be keeping my bunny indoors and I’m going to add a fence around the house for extra room and safety. Is it big enough? (My bunny will be a dwarf Holland lop)

I think it’s big enough as a hide away, but it’s not really a cage, more of just a fancy hidey house. If you put a large playpen around it it would make a great hideout in that area for your bun

Looks like an awesome hideout! You would definitely need a pen around it if the bunnies aren’t free roam. But it looks fancier than a cardboard box hideout

May I ask where you found it?

The house by itself is small and wouldn’t be big enough to actually house a rabbit, but it would make a nice hideway inside of an x-pen. The stairs are concerning to me, though. It looks like they might be difficult for a rabbit to manage, and a rabbit might even slip off of them and fall. You would also need to make sure what it’s made of and painted with, because a rabbit will likely be chewing on it.

This house itself is actually made of cedar treated with water based color. BUT I am actually going to order this to see the parts in person and to rebuild it using rabbit safe material, without the roof. I found this on amazon.
