        Hi guys.
How long would you reccommend to keep new plants gated off for?
I have planted a border of lavender and a rockery with plants.
They are all species rabbits dont like but wont kill them if they nibbled.
The lavender arnt budding yet so i was going to wait until they were until i removed the fencing.
It has been about a month i would say. Dont want the hard work to go to waste.
        Cant find any advice online.
        Thanks, Vicky

A lot depends on the rabbit, I had one that would ignore plants, and I have one that will eat even the most unappetising plants, even toxic ones. Not only that, she’ll destroy them from the base.
If you want to be sure no harm comes to the he plants , keep them fenced off unless you’re there to keep an eye on them! Also if the rabbits do get into them too much at once will make them sick (even if they are safe plants)

Unfortunately the only way to know is by finding out the hard way…. or fence off for good….. good luck.
