So I know that it’s normal for a bunny to lick and maybe nibble a bit. Sometimes Humphrey bites the end of your finger if you poke his nose through the cage, understandably lol. But tonight I was giving him pets in his cage and as I went to pull my hand away, he jumped towards me and bit me, but then relaxed once I was petting him. I even picked him up with no problem. Could this possibly be a love bite or a “don’t stop” thing? Or did he just have a behavioral glitch? lol.

It would be nice if I didn’t have to be afraid to put my hands in his cage lol. I am not now, but if it ends up happening a lot, oven mits might be my best friend.

        Thanks,

        Kendra and Humphrey

Pancakes does that to me. I don’t know why. I tickle her on the nose and she bites me not hard. I think its cute.

Mine did the same this morning. I had placed her food bowl outside the cage while cleaning it, and when I wanted to move it back in (while she was eating from it) – she went for me and bit me, so I bled! She has never done that before.

I guess rabbits can be in a foul mood just like the rest of us.
