So firstly loving the new smilies!! Basically this is off topic but i am in so much pain i had to moan about it somewhere!

And anyway as some of you may know im abit of a tattoo piercing nut! I am trying to get as little done as possible because nobody wants to be taught by someone with doodles all over them LOL so at the minute i only have 3 tatts and 6 piercings but today i went to get my nose done, i have had it done before but they did it with an ear piercing gun (and an earring which is about twice the size of a nose stud) and it really hurt and kept bleeding and wouldnt heal  so anyway i thought well i put up with the pain of that so having it done with a needle cant be that bad, so i went to get it done and the first time he couldnt ge the needle through so it went half way and he had to pull it out, second time he cut it too short so had to pull it out and couldnt get the bar in so was pulling at my (bleeding) nose for 10mins  and then decided it wasnt going to go so he was going to have to put another needle in, and this time he got it through and i got a nose bleed  and that was my adventures for the day.

you can teach with a nose stud, not a nose ring, and people dont really mind the tattoos as long as they dont have swear words or naked girls lol but generally i cover them up for interviews once your hired they cant fire you for it lol They dont like piercings like lip or eyebrow but they dont mind ear, noes and ones you cant see day to day (which i have one of you will have to guess where ) hehe

Oh I luv nose peircings. I did one myself too but the thing kept migrating so I took it out. I need to have it done by a pro and get a real gold or solid silver in it so it won’t migrate again. yes it did hurt and I have allergies so that was loads of fun ack. very painful blowing nose and ear piercing healing ahaha. gee.  also I was on a piercing spree I did 3 holes in each ear and a belly one too. I forgot how dangerous that is cuz a big vein is near there luckily I didn’t hit it. well it migrated too was too shallow I think so I took it out too. one day I wll get another nose ring. they can be so dainty and feminine a little post with a small little colorful stone in it. very dainty I luv it. I have friends from india who have them but hubby is not so hot about it. so ….  one day  will come my turn  awe puff is atop me she keeps nipping me with her little teeth a very sharp nip. rascal. wonder if she is groomign me or mad she is sittin quietly tho. hmmmm. she is shedding I see hair flying around. she needs a good brushign oh boy here we go grooming time oh joy. jsut if her and ruby start the shed together oh boy gosh she is tuiggin on my shirt now.

ooch ooch ooch!  sounds painful!  i loooove those little nose piercings but i fear it would look ridiculous on me (i’m 37) about as much as i fear the pain (i’m a complete suck).  lol.

Oh OUCH!!!! I got my nose pierced almost a year ago (for my 19th bday) and trust me it hurts! I could only imagine the kind of pain you went through! They used one of those big needles for me but if they wanted to use an ear piercing gun I think I would have run away lol. It seems like it would hurt but it’s not so bad that I wouldn’t go through it again. I’m a lot like yourself with the tats and piercings. I have 3 tattoos and my ears pierced in 2 places and my nose lol. Anyways I hope your nose is feeling better and hope it heals quickly!!!

Yowch. I have a tattoo and may get another and that hurt enough as it was. I simply cannot imagine getting a nose piercing, especially from a bumbling idiot (from the sound of it). You poor thing! Ice it well.

Oh the pain! >.< My fanny cheeks just clenched up a mile whilst reading that! YOWCH!

I guess I’m old-fashioned, or just a wuss, but I can’t see more than maybe four ear piercings (I only have three, the last one hurt to much to go through with it) and the only tatt I hope to get is to have my eyebrows and liner done. After losing all my hair during chemo, and plucking my brows into oblivion in my teens (I used to have huge Brooke Shields eyebrows) I think that’s all the cosmetic needle punching I really want to ahve done…or more to the point, can sit still for. *winces*

I remember when taking the earrings all the way up into the cartilage was as much as most folks would do and that looked painful enough. Some of the places where rings and studs go these days simply freak me out! ^_^ But I guess it’s par for the course for young folks these days.
However, when my son floated the idea by me a few years ago to get himself an earring, I put my foot down and said NO WAY. I wonder if he’ll just go out and do that when he’s moved out?

Lots of rubbing alcohol and hydrogen peroxide kept my ears from infecting…but I can’t imagine doing that to one’s nose! I get cold sores up in my nostrils from time to time and HOOBOY does it sting when I have to q-tip peroxide up there to get rid of them! YIKES!

I’m like MM – and old-fashioned wuss. (MM, if you do have your eyebrows done, make sure they draw it on first and you like it. I’ve seen several here in FL that are all too high, and they have a permanent look of surprise stuck on their faces.)

A tip for pierced hole healing: I only have two (one in each earlobe – I’m a bore) but when I have a sensitive or red lobe, I dip the post into a tube of anti-biotic ointment (Bacitracin, though I just use generic) so it’s coated, then put it in. It makes inserting it easy, but while it’s sitting in there it acts to heal the hole from the inside. Really reduces the pain of putting in the ring and it feels soothing. Reduces any starting infection too.

i always wanted my lip done but cant get away with it doing teaching, i have 4 in each ear and i did find that the ones at the top hurt alot especially when im in bed because you are lying on it and they really stung in the morning! i am not really a wuss as far as piercings and tatts go, the way i look at it that day or so of pain leaves something beautiful (in my opinion) on you for the rest of your life, i understand that some people are old fashioned and dont like piercings and stuff and i think thats great too it annoys me when people like or dont like something and they cant except everyone elses opinion i find thats particularly so in people who are anti abortionist, if you tell them you agree with it they cant except thats your opinion and move on they have to push it down your throat that you are wrong and they are right! i love them and would cover myself in them if i could! shame no-one would employ me haha i find men with loads of tatts and that sexy aswell, so manly and oohh lol i have always wanted my finger pierced but everyone said it would look ugly I think i will have a bunny on my leg next!

I never heard of a finger piercing. I would think that if you had it done on your left hand ring finger, you could just wear a diamond stud instead of a ring. Kind of convenient, and cheaper, now that I think of it.

lolz…actually I wish I could. But the hubby won’t let me get any art. He has a tat on his upper left bicep from the Marines. He regrets it to the extremes. A woman with tattoos doesn’t appeal to him for some reason.
I designed a Haida style wolf tat once, but it’s on my old computer. I wish I could show it to you all, it was pretty good, I thought.

i am thinking of having a picture of thumper done, because he is soo cute! i was going to get all my pets names down my side because they are like my children and i want everyone to know i love them dearly so i wanted that done but then i realised by the end of my life i would be covered from hip to ancle and probably need more room!

Mimzmum i would so tell darren to go eff off if he told me i couldnt have anything! LOL i just turned up with daxter and said oh we are getting a second bunny haha not very couple-y i know but i have always just dont whatever i like, bit spoilt i guess, he didnt want me to get my nose done cuz he said he wouldnt like it (turns out he said it looks nice) but i had it done anyway – its my body!!
