Orlando Area? Just a LITTLE bit of a heads-up..

So a lot of you guys already know that I’m an artist and am persuing a degree in animation. (Or something of the equivillent that will land me a job as an animator.) I’m currently attending the nearest state college which is only 30 miles away, but they don’t have any good 4-year art degrees. So as of right now my plan is to finish with my AA degree and transfer to some big art college..

..which for me probably means the Orlando/ Central Florida area. What with it pretty much being the mecca for art colleges and study programs, specifically animation art and the like. Disney, Pixar, and all of their little branches and programs, etc. I still have yet to actually take a trip down there and visit all the colleges and see what they have to offer, but I plan on doing that this summer. Just taking one massive tour of the central Florida schools and touring animation studios.

Anyway, if I continue at the rate I’m going right now, I should be done with my AA degree at the end of next summer (not this summer, but the next). So I just wanted to give everyone in Central Florida a little bit of a heads up! My plans may change, of course, but right now it looks like the most likely possibility.

That sounds awesome! GOOD LUCK!!! Fortunately that is not that big of a move for you, not like you have to go cross-country or anything! Keep us posted on what happens!

WEll Hello.   Hubby has relatives in Orlando.   My son is working and living near there too.     Orlando isn’t bad. Just big. lol.  Gosh that will be great to finish up and get your degree there.    

There are rabbit shows in Deland sometimes too which is near Orlando.  I would love to go just to look and see a whole bunch of rabbits.  lol… Leaving the $ and cc at home of course so I want take 100 of them home with me. rofl   control Kawthar control yourself no more buns. no more buns repeat after me no more buns  rofl   I am just being silly.

I live in Orlando. What school are you thinking about??? Full Sail??? I have friends who teach there. I teach at two area community colleges, so I doubt you will go to school anywhere where i am.
