  I recently started buying Oxbow Orchard Grass and my buns LOVE it! I’m glad they are eating more hay now because of the problems I’ve been having with Bindi’s tummy.
  
  I noticed the nutrition info on the back of the bag is all the same percentages as the Timothy Hay. Is it okay to feed only the Orchard Grass because now my rabbits want nothing to do with the Timothy I’ve been mixing in. Also my vet always mentions that rabbits should never have Alfalfa hay, just Timothy. Do you think the Orchard Grass is suitable for a healthy rabbit diet?

  I would say yes, but variety is always better. I think your vet just means that it has to be a grass hay, especially if you are feeding only one type.

  Absolutely – orchard grass like timothy grass is a grass hay.

  Mine are on Orchard and they love it. Toby had had trouble with the rougher cut of Timothy and he loves the softer orchard along with the coastal bermuda in the litter boxes. I don’t know if it was that he just didn’t like the timothy I got that time or he likes the orchard so much more but he never leaves any.

  Okay awesome, because we are all really happy with the Orchard Grass. I find the bags are much nicer, a lot less crumbs and dust on the bottom of the bag like the Timothy.

  My bun lovesssss orchard hay. I had no choice but to switch it cos I am allergic tp timothy. I also have some botonical hay on hand as well.

  Brittany, bontanical hay has timothy in it too. Found that out the hard way.
  
  You might already know this… But man, was I miserable until I got the vaacum out.

  Mine are almost exclusively on orchard since I’ve started buying the 50 lb Oxbow Orchard boxes. They love it. I love it. it’s GREAT.
