  This isn’t a problem, mostly it’s just funny. Kate is a very white little bunny and she really like her carrots. What happens though, is that when I give her carrots she nibbles just a little on all of them for awhile and then lays down on top of them turning her chest orange! It looks funny, she looks like a little kid who dribbled all over herself. She’s a good bather so it never stays for more than a day. Does anyone else ever get an orange bunny?

  I know that other white bunnies on the boards sometime get green around their mouths or other places from the fresh greens. It really is quite funny and cute. lol

  LOL!! how does that happen? my buns have carrots and greens all the time and I never see their mouths like that? I kind of want to see rorschach wear some lipstick

  Haha nope, it’s just a nice fresh baby carrot (not cooked)! If I let her eat them off a plate, it’s a little harder for her because she has to chase it around to get a good bite. But if I hand-feed her the carrots, this is always what happens . I guess she’s just so hungry/greedy that she eats so fast with no time to be neat or clean herself between bites, lol. I have a picture of her with green lips as well…I’m thinking blueberries/raspberries next for blue/red lips? I can make a whole collection of these!
