Gee.  Whats with my buns.   Since I switch to Kaytee Timmy Ruby doesn’t care for it. She will eat it but is slow about it.

Cotton loves it more than Oxbow.  Looks like I have to get Oxbow basic t for Ruby and Kaytee timmy for Cotton.

        Silly wabbits.

I look at her front teeth and they look normal. I heard that if they go off their pellets it is cuz their front teeth and off their hay is the molars.  Is this true?  Does anyone know?

if her front teeth look fine, i am sure they are. my rabbit is sooooo picky about hay. he won’t eat any, he saves it until really late at night and eats it as a last resort when there is no other food left. i think its just her personal taste.

Isn’t that always the case :~)

I don’t think there is any particular thing as far as teeth. Some rabbits stop pellets and some stop veggies so there is nothing set in stone, usually just a change in their eating habits (or even not with some rabbits).

Yes Ruby really loves hay.  And I think she prefers oxbow pellets lol..

I solved the hay problem with Cotton  now I got a pellet problem with Ruby.   OH dear.  She does finish them off about 2 hours of nibbling at them.  I will try her on Oxbow T again.

the things we do to please our bunnies.  Makes you wonder. Who is really the boss. Why the rabbit of course.

Well, I have many rabbits who are grazers and they don’t gobble up their food right away so it may be that she is just a grazer and not a food hog.

You know you are right.  Even Cotton doesnt’ eat all his pellets at one time.  Maybe I should just calm down and accept this as normal.  And stick with the same pellets too. Silly me
